Does it work on all phones? Do customers need an app?
Tap works on iPhone 7 and newer and on Android phones with NFC. Every other phone scans the QR code. No app is needed.
No app is needed to tap, to scan, or to set up your card. There is also no tinydabba app to install.

The tap works at touch distance, a few centimetres. Thin phone covers are fine. Thick or metal covers block the chip, so the customer removes the cover or scans the QR instead.
The phone needs internet to open your page, like any website.
