Can you remove the white patch on the back of the card?
No. The white area near the QR code is the NFC chip. It stays unless you order a card without NFC.
The small white patch on the back of a PVC card marks where the NFC chip and its antenna sit. Printing over it would weaken the tap, so it stays white.
If the patch does not suit your design, you have two options:
- Keep NFC and place your design around the patch. Our preview shows exactly where it falls.
- Order a QR-only card without NFC, where the whole back is printable.
Metal cards have no visible patch; the chip is inside the card.
